Ahurei Adventures has three convenient, comfortable and quite unique accommodation options to make your visit to the region as easy and enjoyable as possible. These include:

White's
Clearing Cabin: Our private cabin at White's Clearing
provides basic but comfortable accommodation in this very remote and
unique place. It sleeps up to 8 people. Located on a grassy clearing, surrounded by the
magnificent native forest of Te Urewera, White's Clearing is one of
the only places in the world where you can see herds of wild deer
all year round. $25pp per night. Meals can also be provided for an
additional charge.

Clearing Campsite: Our campsite at White's Clearing
is close to the river and has basic toilet facilities. $15 per tent site per night for up to two
people. Additional campers $5 per person.

Marae stays: Oputao is our cosy family marae in Ruatahuna. The marae can sleep up
to 30 people in traditional style on mattresses all together in the
wharenui (meeting house). Enjoy a night of
uniquely Maori hospitality. $35pp, $78pp includes evening meal and
breakfast.
